Who we are
What we collect
When you use Ace without an account, we collect your conversation history temporarily in your browser and track how many messages you've sent using local storage. We don't store this on our servers.
When you create an account, we collect your email address, your conversation history with Ace, any bets you log in the journal, and your account preferences. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
We also collect standard usage data — pages visited, features used, and general performance metrics through Vercel Analytics. We do not collect your IP address or precise location.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. Ever. We don't share your betting history or conversations with third parties. We don't serve ads. We don't use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
How we use your data
We use your data to provide the service — to give Ace context about your betting history so his analysis gets better over time. We use aggregate, anonymized data to improve the product. We may send you product updates and feature announcements by email if you opt in.
Data storage
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) servers. Conversations and bet records are retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@acebets.ai.
Third-party services
Ace uses the following third-party services to operate:
- ◆Supabase (database and authentication)
- ◆Anthropic (AI responses — your conversations are processed by Claude)
- ◆The Odds API (live sports odds data)
- ◆Vercel (hosting and analytics)
- ◆Google (authentication, if you choose to sign in with Google)
Anthropic's data handling is governed by their privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your account and all associated data, or opt out of any email communications at any time. Email privacy@acebets.ai for any of these requests.
Responsible gambling
Ace is for informational and educational purposes only. We do not accept bets, facilitate gambling transactions, or encourage irresponsible gambling. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
Changes to this policy
We'll notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of Ace after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
